HUD PRO Housing Grant

ABOUT THE GRANT

On July 27, 2023, the White House announced $85 million in federal grant funding for communities across the country to identify and remove barriers to affordable housing production and preservation. The Pathways to Removing Obstacles to Housing (PRO Housing) grant will be administered through U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The grant is intended to highlight the efforts of communities that have shown commitment to addressing the housing crisis and support projects that create long-term affordable housing. The grant awards will range between $1 million and $10 million. PRO Housing incentivizes housing-forward actions to further development, evaluate, and implement housing challenges and facilitate the production and preservation of affordable housing.
