Park Reservations
The City of Kalispell has both gardens & facilities for hosting a group event. Guaranteed use of a facility is obtained through a paid Reservation Permit from Kalispell City Parks and Recreation.

Kalispell Parks
Kalispell Parks and Recreation maintains 445 acres of parkland and natural open space that range from large urban and community parks to mini parks. Whether your recreation tastes trend towards a park with playgrounds and sports amenities, flower gardens, a free concert, walking trails or a quiet undeveloped place to enjoy trees and birds, Kalispell has something to offer everyone.

Open park hours are 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Animals In City Parks
October 5, 2020, City Council approved and passed Ordinance 1848 prohibiting the Feeding and Abandonment of Animals in City Parks. This ordinance would prohibit the feeding of fowl and the abandonment of domestic animals in City parks and provide a civil penalty for infraction.
City ordinance #1318A stipulates pets must be leashed at all times while in the city parks with the exception of the Begg Dog Park inside the fenced areas. City Ordinance #1697 stipulates that you are required to pick up after your pet. Dog waste stations have been installed at various city parks for your convenience.
