Airport

The Kalispell City Airport has been in its present location for more than 83 years and is one of the oldest General Aviation airports in the State of Montana.

City Attorney

The City Attorney's office is composed of a city attorney, an adjutant city attorney, an assistant city attorney, and administrative assistants who carry out responsibilities for the City.

City Clerk & Communications

The city clerk's office is responsible for many of the city records, legal notices, materials for city council meetings, public hearings, procurement, contracts and agreements.

City Manager

The City Manager is the chief administrative officer for the city and supervises and directs city employees.

Development Services

Finance

The Finance Department is responsible for all activities concerning City finances including investment, financial reporting and fulfilling regulatory requirements.

Fire

The Kalispell Fire Department is an all hazard Fire and EMS department serving the City of Kalispell with a first due response area of approximately 14 square miles. We do so with a career staff of 30 personnel which staff two fire stations.

Human Resources

Our Human Resources handles job applications and recruitment, as well as maintaining personnel files including sick and vacation records.

Municipal Court

The Municipal Court handles misdemeanor criminal cases, ordinance violations, and civil cases.

Parks & Recreation

This department oversees maintenance of City-owned parks and recreation facilities and administers recreation programs.

Police

Even though we are a relatively small department in staff, we provide a full range of professional police services including: patrol, school resource officers, detectives, crime analysis, reserve police, and more.

Public Works

Public Works is responsible for the design, construction, maintenance and administration of City's infrastructure.
